If you go to a doctor and tell him/her that you don’t feel well, the first thing the doctor will do is ask you a series of questions such as, “How long have you been feeling this way”, “Are you having any pain?”, “Where does it hurt?”, etc., etc., etc.

They can’t prescribe a medication or a treatment without first diagnosing the pain.

The exact same thing applies to selling pest control…or anything for that matter.  You must identify the prospect’s pain before you can offer you the cure.

And it’s not always what YOU think it is!

If you try to sell without first diagnosing the problem, you will be doing yourself…and your customer…a great disservice.
