Do you have a website?

I certainly hope so.

If not, you’re in serious trouble and won’t be able to stay in business for long, especially in an economy such as this one.

Bottom line: YOU HAVE TO BE ON THE INTERNET WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT…….PERIOD!

Now, let me ask you this:

How much business do you get from your website? Most pest control companies can’t tell you with any degree of accuracy.

Are you using video on your website? If not, you  are way, way behind the times. And I don’t mean just a video. I mean, are you using video effectively in such a way as to compel viewers to take action and do business with you?  Or are you making the same deadly mistakes most people make with their on-line videos and never know it?

Is it easy to contact you? Do you have an effective CALL TO ACTION?  Is it located in the proper place and in the proper psychological sequence on your website?

Do you have an effective funnel? Does your website drive people to you and allow them to easily fall into your lap and make a purchase from you?  Are you depending on THEM to figure it out?  If you are, this is a costly mistake!

Are you building lists with your website? This is how you build your herd of faithful followers who will continue to do business with you and send you referrals in the future.

Is your website geo-targeted? Do you have a geo-targeted domain name? Can the person across the street or two blocks over from you find YOU immediately on the web? Are you actively using your website to market to THEM?

Are you optimized for Google Places? Can you be found all over the internet?

Do you have multiple Google Places listings? Can the maximum number of possible customers easily find you? Do they know what to do when they do?

Are you in all the local internet directories? Same question.

Can your customers pay you online? Can I simply enter a credit card number, click a button and buy from you?  That is money that goes directly in the bank!

If you answered NO to any of these questions, you need our help. You are losing money everyday.

I’m going to be very blunt and honest here:  The vast majority of websites are designed by web designers……not direct response  internet marketers.

Most web designers take  pride in building pretty websites with lots of nice graphics…especiall ones with moving parts…which is almost always a fatal mistake. It confuses the subconscious brain and hides, distorts, or convolutes the message (if there even is a message there to begin with) and causes tons of viewers to simply go somewhere else.

The human brain is programmed, from birth, to act and react in  certain ways.  If you’re website is in conflict with this pre-programming, you lose lots of business.  It’s as simple as that.

No matter how much money you spend on website optimization and web traffic,  if you are sending people to a website that is not constructed using the proper psychological buying response triggers and sequences,  you are losing a lot of business…and that is a FACT!
